When it comes to the design and content of your PowerPoint presentation, having a space where you can take a pen and write down all your ideas and thoughts is a great concept. 

This template will give you the space to  clear your mind and write down every idea you have. 

Below I have listed all of the points you will need to think about as you start to plan your Presentation. 

Presentation Title - Think about the key words that you would like to include in your presentation title. 

Presentation Colour Palette and Theme -  Think about your colours and how many colours you would like to use and where. 

How many slides? It is always good to have a number in mind before you begin. 

Presentation Objective -  Depending on who you are presenting to, you may have been given a meeting objective. Make sure to include them while you are brain storming your idea. 

Presentation Requirements -  You may have been given requirements to follow for example, specific fonts and sizes or perhaps you've been asked to submit your presentation in a specific size and format. Write these requirements down. 

Once you have completed the Presentation Planning Template (Part a) above or if you already have your ideas and thoughts noted down, it's now time to take all the information and plan out your presentation using my Storyboard Template. 

I originally created my Storyboard Template to use with my clients to map out the PowerPoint presentations I was creating for them to give them a clear picture of how the presentation would look, feel and the story. 

Having a beautifully designed presentation is important but making sure your presentation has a beginning, middle and end is even more important as we want to capture our audience from the very start. 

Using my Storyboard Template will allow you to really think, plan, and decide before you even open PowerPoint where all your elements will be placed.

Creating a presentation from scratch can be time consuming especially if only a moment’s notice is given but by taking 5 to 10 minutes at the very start and using this template, you will be amazed how quickly your PowerPoint Presentations will come to life.
